Meet the Artist
Reka Lukacs
Hello,
I am so happy you found my art.
Let’s talk a little bit about me so you know who made the piece hanging on your wall.
I am a Hungarian artist, I moved to Los Angeles 5 years ago to pursue my dream. I am very passionate and dedicated about my art. I love motion, patterns and vibrant colors.
I bring my perspective to life through captivating mixed-media artworks. In my art I try to reflect a blend of contemporary flair and timeless elegance.
I love to work using materials you never thought it could be part of a painting.
My goal is to create an undeniable urge in my viewers to stop and touch the pieces and wonder about their meaning.
With each piece, I aim to evoke emotions and inspire curiosity, creating meaningful connections between art and admirers.
The story behind Sculpted Motion
The story behind my first sculpted piece is quite spontaneous, actually. It all began with a bag of fabric that had long been forgotten, originally intended for a sewing project but then I realized I got a long way to become a tailor so I gave up on it. However, I had this bag of fabric lying around sadly for months. One day, as I was in my creative zone looking for something interesting to paint, I happened to notice the neglected bag of fabric nearby. I opened it up and was instantly drawn to its textures and colors. That's when I had a lightbulb moment - why not incorporate these fabrics into my canvas artwork? And just like that, "Sculpted Motion Art" was born.
